Navigating the college softball recruiting process can be overwhelming for athletes and families. That’s where Steve Kraytenberg comes in. As NH SportsHouse’s college recruiting specialist, Steve brings over 45 years of coaching experience, including 25 years in girls’ fast-pitch softball and a decade as a college assistant coach. He provides personal mentorship and hands-on guidance to help athletes understand the recruiting timeline, connect with the right programs, and find their best college fit. With an average of 12 college commits per year, the results speak for themselves — our athletes aren’t just training to get better, they’re preparing to get recruited.
My Approach
Rather than take a one size fits all approach, I take the time to understand each athlete's goals, strengths, and academic fit, then build a personalized recruiting strategy around them. My direct relationships with college programs, combined with honest guidance and hands on mentorship, have helped athletes consistently earn roster spots at the next level, with an average of 12 commits per year.
